Hello my most wonderful World Wide Family. I love you all so very much. It is great to be able to talk with you all. When I write about topics, or when I speak to people one on one or in public settings, and share God’s WORD, it is because God has been helping me and therefore I want to help anyone that I can. I want to be used by God to bring Him Glory and to help His people whenever possible. We are all in this life together. We are all the Human Race. Let’s all love one another, share and be kind and helpful whenever we have an opportunity.
God always teaches me to either deal with an issue, have more understanding about a topic, a better grasp of a situation, more love for His people or more wisdom from His WORD the Bible. It is never as if I have mastered anything. I am God’s student each and every day, and moment by moment while I am in this Journey called Life. This is called the Sanctification process for those of us who have given our lives to Jesus. The Holy Spirit leads and guides us.
When I share something, I am talking to myself as well as to you. I am attempting to build myself up in the Ways of the LORD as well as you. When I share about the LORD, I am very careful to try and represent Him the way He wants to be represented and to share His WORD of TRUTH. The TRUTH that Supersedes fact. I do have opinions like we all do but I like to focus on the LORD. If I do share an opinion I will mention that it is just my opinion. Of course I am human and fallible. The Holy Spirit will teach and exhort me when I am wrong.
Dear LORD God Almighty, thank You that we have You to come to in prayer. Thank You for Who You are and Whose we are. Thank You for giving Your Only Beloved, Begotten Son Jesus Christ to die a horrendous death to take away the penalty of our sins even though He was without sin. We can never thank You enough. Thank You Jesus for dying for us so those of us who accept You as LORD and Savior can spend eternity with You as well as this life right now. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit our Comforter Who does this life with us. Who teaches us, guides us, gives us wisdom, comforts us, and leads us to Jesus.
Please LORD remove our scales and blinders from our eyes. Help us to clearly see our need to repent for our sins and our need for You as our Savior. Please send Revival and Regeneration. Please protect Your children for all generations. Place Your Hedge of Protection around us and keep Your angels around us. Lead us to fulfill the destiny and purpose that You have created each one of us for. We thank You in advance. In Jesus Holy Name. Amen.
Sometimes I think about the fact that I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety and have been prescribed medication. My life has changed. Depression has caused some changes, and changes that I have gone through in life have caused the depression. I take a low dose antidepressant and I tried to stop taking it to see if I would be OK without it.
I have worked in the Mental Health field and with Psychiatric patients. We tell them not to stop taking their medication just because they feel better because the reason they feel better is because of the desired effects of the medication. So knowing this, what did I do? I stopped taking my medication. It was the strangest thing. I could not stop crying. If I didn’t have anything serious to cry about, I would cry while watching commercials.
I have studied medications, effects, side effects, patients, diagnoses, but I had never read that a medication could literally stop someone from crying. It got so ridiculous with me crying all the time that I quickly started taking my medication again and guess what? I stopped crying all the time. I was amazed.
We all have imperfections, problems, situations, sin in our lives, and some of us have sickness, either physical or mental. We can still choose how we will deal with our own issues. Even if they have changed our lives or our lifestyles. We can make the Decision to Not live a Defeated life! How do we do this?
For me, I need to pray to my Heavenly Father all the time because when I am weak then I am strong. He never leaves me nor forsakes me. I need to stay in His WORD the Bible. I read it daily, I love it. I watch Preachers on TV, YouTube, listen to them on podcasts, listen to the audio Bible, go to Church, and read books by Christian authors. I do my best to defeat depression. Until God completely heals me, depression will not destroy me. I will continue to do His Good Work.
Here are a few examples of Powerful Preachers: Francis Chan, Jack Hibbs, Jonathan Cahn, Beckett Cook, Priscilla Shier, Isaiah Salvador. Those who are deceased but their powerful preaching message continues on: Charles Spurgeon, Smith Wigglesworth, CS Lewis. All of these are Awesome and there are many more. Be careful though, there are deceivers out there, those who speak half truths, who preach a weak, powerless Jesus who is not the Jesus of the Bible. That is why you have to know God’s WORD for yourselves.
Remember Jesus is Pure Love. He is also the Righteous Judge. Read in the Book of Revelations how Jesus will be when He returns. Please do not think that it is OK to simply call yourself a Christian and continue in your sin. Becoming a True Christ follower will include the Fruit of the Spirit. Your life will change in the LORD. Jesus loves you too much to leave you in your sin. He changes you from the inside out. He changes your heart. I can definitely speak from experience.
GALATIANS 5:22-23 But the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
My oikos/sphere of influence/family, friends may have changed a lot and gotten significantly smaller, but I can still reach out and do my part right where I am. I can be loving, kind and supportive. I can help when help is needed and always pray for them. I can also reach out to the whole world with finances and prayer.
2 CORINTHIANS 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (nkjv)
DEUTERONOMY 31:8 It is the LORD Who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. (esv)
ROMANS 3:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our LORD.
1 JOHN 1:8-9 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the Truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He, (God), is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Well, I need to go for now. Until we get to speak again, Please remember that I love you and am praying for you and all of your generations. Most importantly, Jesus loves you.
