The Thanksgiving Season Can Be Celebrated Continually Because There Is ALWAYS Something To Be Thankful For!

Good morning my most Wonderful World Wide Family. I love you all so very much. It is so awesome to be able to write to you nice and early this morning. We just celebrated our Thanksgiving Holiday here in America. I pray that you had a great time on Thanksgiving day and were able to spend time sharing fabulous food and fun with your family and friends. I got to spend my Thanksgiving day with my friends at the church that feeds hundreds of people without homes, and I got to go to work. I was very thankful for both of these.

We all have so very much to be thankful to God for. We are so  blessed by Him. Even if  God would not answer another one of our prayers the way we would think we should have our prayers answered; He has already done enough for us. God gave us His Only Beloved, Begotten Son Jesus Christ to die a horrendous death for our sins. Jesus had no sins but He took all of your sins,  my sins, and all of our generations sins; past, present and future. For those of us who accept God’s Precious Gift to us and accept Jesus Christ as our LORD and Savior; we get to spend our eternal lives with Him in Heaven.

We will all spend our eternal lives somewhere. Wouldn’t we want to make the right choice and spend eternity with God in Heaven? The alternative is hell. Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. And all who come to the Father, must come through Him. The thing is that ‘the choice is OURS to make’. God gave us the freedom and responsibility to make this choice. He will not force us to love Him. That would not be true love.

JOHN 14:6   JESUS ANSWERED, “I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.   (niv)

The ramifications of our choice is eternal. Also, the choice has to be made while we are still  alive and breathing. The moment we take our last breath it will be too late to change our minds and say that we now want to be a Christ Follower. We never know the time nor date that we will breathe our last breath. Are we ready for eternity?

Dear LORD God Almighty, Maker of Heaven and earth, we praise You. We are so very thankful to You for all that You do, all that You have already done and all that You will do in our lives in the future. We thank You mostly for Jesus Christ our LORD and Savior. We thank You for wanting to do this life with us and never, ever leaving us alone. We thank You that You give us Your Holy Spirit and Your Power. You gave us Your Living WORD the Bible. This is our instruction manual for life. The most relevant Book for all generations that ever exist.

Thank You for sending Your angels to protect us. Thank You that You lead us and guide us. You protect us and provide for us. LORD please cause all of this unrest, hatred, bigotry, abuse, killing and flagrant sin to cease in the Name of Jesus Christ. This would allow our minds and emotions to be free to focus on the positive and on loving all of Your people instead of on hatred and strife. Give us Your Peace that passes all understanding, Jesus. Send us revival all around Your world, Father. We ask this in the Precious Name of Jesus Christ and thank You in advance. Amen. Glory to God!

I CHRONICLES 16:34   GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS GOOD; HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER

COLOSSIANS 3:15, 17   LET THE PEACE OF CHRIST RULE IN YOUR HEARTS, SINCE AS MEMBERS OF ONE BODY YOU WERE CALLED TO PEACE. AND BE THANKFUL….AND WHATEVER YOU DO, WHETHER IN WORD OR DEED, DO IT ALL IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS, GIVING THANKS TO GOD THE FATHER THROUGH HIM.

1 THESSALONIANS 5:18   IN EVERY THING GIVE THANKS: FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS CONCERNING YOU  (kjv)

You might say… how can I give thanks in Everything? You don’t know what I am going through right now! You don’t know the pain, the grief, the sadness, the isolation, the financial stress, the brokenness in my family, and the devastation that I am experiencing right now at this very moment.

No, I do not know exactly what pain and devastation you are experiencing right now; but God does.  He is right there with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you, even when your family and friends have abandoned you. The Bible verse does not say for us to give thanks For everything. It says In everything. This is an attitude of our heart and way that we can control  our emotions. This will produce a good character trait in us and help us through life. We will be strengthened. We will be Victorious in Christ!

I do however know the devastation,  overwhelming pain and grief that I have experienced. But… I am here to tell you that God did not leave me there in that devastation to be overtaken, consumed and destroyed! He NEVER, ever left me for one moment and He never will. Do I still hurt? Yes. Did God hurt when He watched as His Only Son Jesus Christ was being crucified on that Cross for us, for me? More than we could ever fathom or imagine.

I just recently heard a Christian Artist on the Dove Awards say something that I thought was so profound that I had to keep rewinding and listening to it. (You would think that I would have memorized it but I didn’t. So,  if I don’t quote it exactly, I am so sorry.)

He said that “it is in the Suffering and the Pain that we find true joy, not in the victories”. What??? Wow, that is so deep to me! It is so true for me in my life. The reason this is so true to me is because through the most intense pain, I have to cling so tenaciously to my LORD so that I can even survive through the moments. This type of intimacy with my Creator is really what life is all about. We were, (I was),  created for Him, by Him, to be used by Him to help His people and to spend eternity with Him. It is ALL ABOUT HIM. Thank You God for always being there for me, for us.

PSALMS 118:14   THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH AND SONG, AND IS BECOME MY SALVATION   (kjv)

PSALMS 28:7   THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH AND MY SHIELD; MY  HEART TRUSTED IN HIM, AND I AM HELPED: THEREFORE MY HEART GREATLY REJOICETH; AND WITH MY SONG WILL I PRAISE HIM.   (kjv)

well I have to go for now. God bless you and all of your generations. You are always in my prayers. I love you and most importantly, Jesus loves you.
