The One Year Anniversary

Good morning bright and early my most Wonderful World Wide Family. I love you all so very much. It is so awesome to be able to write to you this early in the morning.

Well it is the 1 year Anniversary of the tragic death of my loved one. Wow, one year has passed already. I thank God that I am still in my right mind and able to write to you all today. Seriously, there have been some moments when I had to do just what the Bible says; “Pray without ceasing”, just to keep it together mentally and emotionally. I definitely cannot say that it has been easy. Actually it has been the hardest thing that I have ever lived through thus far, and I have lived through many tragedies. But God….He never left me alone just like He says in His WORD.

Dear LORD God Almighty, Maker of Heaven and earth, Jesus Christ our LORD and Savior, Holy Spirit, our One and Only  God the Trinity, we come to You with praise and adoration. We worship You for Who You are and Whose we are. We love You LORD. We thank You for providing for us as Jehovah Jireh, (the LORD our Provider),  and healing us as Jehovah Rapha, (the LORD our Healer).  We thank You for giving us Your Peace that passes understanding as Jehovah Shalom, (the LORD our Peace).

Thank You for protecting not only us here and now, but also all of our future generations to come, our posterity. Thank You mostly for Jesus and for Your angels that carry out Your will and protect us. Thank You that Revival is on the way for Your whole world, and that You are calling us back to You in a Mighty and Powerful Way. Thank You for Renewing our minds, attitudes and priorities in this life. Thank You that You have given us purpose and destinies to live out while we are here earth. We are sojourners here on this earth and are here for a very brief time compared to eternity.  We are not simply just meandering aimlessly through life, our lives matter, every life matters.

Please LORD fill us with Your Holy Spirit and His Dunamis Power. Help us to know that we are sons and daughters of the KING of all kings and LORD of all lords. Help us to be aware that we are here to reign for You, to bring You glory, honor and precious souls. Help us to represent You well. To be obedient to Your WORD and to show Your Perfect Love and Compassion.  Please help all of those who have been devastated by natural disasters. Send Your workers LORD. Send Your people of compassion, (send me LORD),  and provide Your resources so that we can help Your broken children, our brothers and sisters; no matter what part of the world they reside in.

We thank You in advance LORD. In Jesus Precious Name we pray. Amen. Glory to God!

During this last year I have hurt so much that I can actually feel the pain in my upper chest by my heart at times. God says in His WORD the Bible that He will never give me, you, (us) more than we can bear.

I CORINTHIANS 10:13   NO TEMPTATION HAS COME UPON YOU EXCEPT WHAT IS COMMON TO HUMANITY. BUT GOD IS FAITHFUL; HE WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO BE TEMPTED BEYOND WHAT YOU ARE ABLE, BUT WITH THE TEMPTATION HE WILL ALSO PROVIDE A WAY OUT SO THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO BEAR IT.   (csb)

For me sometimes this “temptation” would be feeling like I just want to give up because the pain is too overwhelming and I am too sad. For others this “temptation” can be many, many things; drugs, alcohol, sexual relationships, porn, being a workaholic. We can get caught up in bitterness and envies which leads to hatred, which destroys our own souls. These are referred to as the secret sins of our heart because no-one can actually see them. They destroy you from within. The ramifications are devastating and deadly.

The great  and comforting thing  is that God Himself will provide a way out for us. However, we would need to want to take this “escape route that God has provided”, because He gives us free will. Sometimes we do and sadly sometimes we don’t. Sometimes I slip into “movie marathons and TV series,{after series}”. This is not always bad, unless I always do this. Sometimes I am stronger and I immediately reach for my Bible or turn on TBN (Trinity Broadcast Network).

Actually, every single day and night I have to watch some show/Preacher on TBN so that I can continue to learn about God and feel inspired and encouraged. Also, since I live alone; this helps me to feel that I am not all alone -on a human level. (I know that I am never alone because God is always with me.) I also have to pour myself, my love, my resources into the lives of hurting people. I know that I receive so much more from helping others than the people that I help could ever receive.

I always think back to the time when I was addicted to gambling. There was never, NEVER a time when God didn’t provide “multiple ways out”. I just never took His ways out. For example, there was always one or more car accidents on the freeway causing major traffic jams. Do you think that stopped me from making the hour long drive that was now taking 2 hours? Not at all!

The Holy Spirit would always give me an impression in my heart and mind of exactly what would happen. For example; I would spend all of my cash money, then I would start writing checks, then I would go to the ATM machines multiple times paying $20.00 in fees each time. Wow, I feel sick just remembering this. Anyway the point is that we don’t have to succumb to the temptations. We are not alone, God is right there/here with us to lead and guide us. God does not expect, nor want us to depend on ourselves. He wants us to depend on Him. God wants us to do life with Him. It is truly a great life!

ROMANS 8:28   AND WE KNOW THAT IN ALL THINGS GOD WORKS FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE WHO LOVE HIM, WHO HAVE BEEN CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.   (niv)

This is one of God’s promises in His WORD that I tenaciously cling to. Do I always know or understand how God is going to work things out? No, but He is God and I am not and I have to trust Him and believe His WORD. Is it easy? Sometimes yes, and other times no.  I fail and I fall because I am human. The important thing is that God does not leave me where I fall. He picks me up, He strengthens me.

PHILIPPIANS 4:13   I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS WHO STRENGTHENS ME.   (My life’s verse-praise God!)

Well to honor my Son-in-Law, I miss him every day. I pray that I become more and more compassionate and loving through this horrendous pain of losing him. God prompted me to start a Bible study at the Mission and I pray that people’s lives will be changed for Jesus and multitudes will be saved. I pray for my little grandchildren who miss their Daddy and their mother. LORD please protect them and guide them every moment of every day. You are the Father to the fatherless as You say in Your WORD.

PSALM 68:5   A FATHER TO THE FATHERLESS, A DEFENDER OF WIDOWS-THIS IS GOD, WHOSE DWELLING IS HOLY.   (nlt)

Well I need to go for now. I love you all so very much. Most importantly, Jesus loves you. You are forever in my prayers. God bless you and your generations always. I’m sorry, I cannot proof read this at this time.
