Running Hysterically Through the Cemetery in the Dark in a Rainstorm

Hello my most Wonderful World Wide Family. I love you all so very much! It has been awhile since I have been able to speak to you. I have missed you a lot.

Dear LORD thank You for this time together with Your family that You have created. Thank You that we have You LORD and we are never alone. Thank You that You are calling all of Your people to You. Thank You that You protect us LORD. You know all of the intimate details of our lives and You love us with Your perfect Love.  You love us too much to leave us in our brokenness. Thank You that it is all about You. You are the One Who loves us, heals us, calls us, leads and guides us and uses us share Your Love with others. We love You, praise You and thank You,  in Jesus Precious Name, Amen. Glory to God!

I received some constructive criticism from one of my children that my blog/communications should be shorter. I realize now that the last one was probably too long. (Maybe others as well.)  Sorry,   🙁   I was just so happy to be able to write to you at that time. I am an avid reader so I love to read short or long stories or books but I know that this is not the case for everyone of course.

I will try to cut down.  The sole purpose of this blog is to introduce Jesus to those of You who do not yet know Him as LORD and Savior.  I want to help to  anyone who is hurting to know that there is always hope in the LORD. I want to  share with you that He has always helped me and kept me alive and sane in the most difficult and devastating times. The LORD has never left me in my sin or sadness. He has always responded with His restoration and regeneration.

I was remembering a very depressing and devastating day.  I had gone to the cemetery shortly after my husband had committed suicide. I was trying to find his grave site. It was raining in torrents. The skies were dark and foreboding. The winds seemed to chill my very soul. I began to run around searching and screaming; “how could you leave me and our children all alone down here?” I slumped to the muddy ground with violent sobs. I never found the grave site and I never returned.

I realized at that point in time just how close I was to having a nervous breakdown. Only the Grace of God kept me from breaking. Only by God’s Grace and Mercy have I  been able to heal from many circumstances in my life. God is faithful even when we aren’t. God will heal you too. Just call on Him.

1 JOHN 1:9    IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS, HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST AND WILL FORGIVE US OUR SINS AND PURIFY US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.    (niv)

ISAIAH 53:5    HE (JESUS) WAS WOUNDED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS, HE WAS BRUISED FOR OUR INIQUITIES: THE CHASTISEMENT FOR OUR PEACE WAS UPON HIM; AND BY  HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED.     (kjv)

Just in case there may be some who don’t completely understand the second scripture; I will briefly share what I have learned from different Preachers as well as from understanding the WORD of God.

Jesus suffered a mock trial in which He was viciously slandered. He was maliciously ridiculed by a violent mob of His Jewish people. He was handed over to the Roman soldiers who savagely beat him, whipped him 39 times with the ‘cat of nine tails’, a whip with cutting pieces of metal that ripped skin and muscle apart.

A crown of spiked thorns was pounded into His head as He was stripped and publicly humiliated. He carried His own cross as far as He could and was crucified on it. GRACE hung on that cross between Heaven and earth that day so that all men, (women and children) can have this Holy Bridge to God Who sacrificed His ONLY SON Jesus Christ the Messiah for us.

Transgressions are our sins overt and covert. Many are quite visible. Jesus was openly wounded. Iniquities are our attitudes, bitterness, unforgiveness; the hidden issues of our hearts. Like a bruise is bleeding under the skin. Jesus was beaten for our iniquities.

Jesus took the wrath of God upon Himself=the chastisement for our peace. We can have His Peace that passes understanding in the midst of our circumstances. By His Stripes, we are healed. Jesus heals us completely; spiritually, emotionally, physically, socially, financially. Glory to God!

Well I have to go for now. God bless and protect you all every minute of every day and all of your generations. I love you so much. Most importantly, Jesus loves you!
