Good morning, (bright and early this morning), my Most Wonderful World Wide Family. I love you all so very much. I truly love being able to share life with all of you.
Dear Lord God, Thank You that we have You to pray to. Thank You that we are never alone. You are always right here with each one of us no matter what we go through. Thank You that when we have questions and need answers to life’s situations; You love to give us Your wisdom. Thank You that Your WORD the Bible is so very relevant today, yesterday, yester-year, tomorrow and for every generation to come for all eternity.
Lord, Your Scriptures contain Your thoughts, Your directions, Your plans, Your desires, Your Love, Your sacrifice, and Your information about the very best way to live life and to be successful and prosperous in every aspect of our lives. You are the Divine Author. Your WORD is God breathed, Holy Spirit inspired and fulfilled in Jesus Christ Your Son. Give us a burning desire to know Your WORD and to want to read Your Bible.
Thank You that we have freedom here in America and other parts of the world to have Bibles in all sorts of translations and we have freedom to worship You, to attend church, have prayer meetings and enjoy great Christian books by awesome authors that You have anointed. Lord protect those countries and people groups that do not have this freedom and are persecuted and even killed for their belief in You. Help them to stand strong Lord unto the end. This life here on earth is only a vapor in time; then eternity begins. Eternity with You is so awesome and so worth anything we might have to endure while here on earth.
LORD be with our brothers and sisters who are scattered all over the world. Be with all of their generations. Keep Your angels around them to protect them Lord. We thank You for this in advance LORD. We trust You LORD. We love You and thank You. In Jesus Precious Name we pray. Amen. Glory to God!
I wanted to share a testimony with you about a situation that I previously had with my cars and how God worked everything out magnificently. To me this was an example of the Scripture that states that God’s ways are not our ways.
I was sleeping in my upstairs room when I was all of a sudden awakened when I heard the loudest sound and felt my house started shaking. I was sure that this must be an earthquake. I looked out of my window and I saw that a young teenage girl who had just gotten her driving permit. She had crashed her car into both of my cars that were in my driveway. Those 2 cars were also pushed up into my garage, peeling it back like an opened can lid.
I went downstairs to take a closer look and she had also crashed through my 3 trash cans that were on the street for trash day and a long hedge of bushes. My house was not even the house that was in the direct path from her house. My neighbors house was directly in her driving path. I was in disbelief. I did not even know what to think. Thank God that I had the presence of mind, (while just waking up), to make sure that she and her younger cousin were alright. They were fine. The trash cans and hedge of bushes buffered their impact. Thank God!
This might sound terrible. It seemed like an unfair situation. I want to tell you all of the magnificent things that God did out of this situation.
ROMANS 8:28 IN ALL THINGS GOD WORKS FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE WHO LOVE CHRIST JESUS AND ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.
- The 2 young girls were not hurt at all!
- I was not hurt at all and no-one else was at home at the time.
- My car insurance paid for everything that I had needed to be fixed.
- My garage had been bumped previously and had a small dent prior to this time. I had wished that I could get it fixed. Due to the great amount of damage at this time; I got a completely new garage door.
- My newer car that I had purchased only a few years prior; had gotten “keyed=scratched intentionally” the first week that I got it. I had always wanted to get that fixed. Due to the great damage to that entire side of my car; it was all repaired and re-painted. Praise God!
- The older car, which had been pushed into the newer car and garage, was still able to be driven by someone who knew how to work on cars and I was able to donate that car to my church and receive a tax credit for it.
- I had removed my hedges because they were mowed down. My insurance paid me the money for the labor for doing this. Imagine that! With that money I increased the size of my driveway and had a brick planter built. I had wanted to do that for a while.
- **I had wanted to do all of these things for a while but never had the extra money to do any of them. They were the desires of my heart. God blessed me exceedingly abundantly above all that I could ask for or imagine!) God blessed me with this money and it all happened because of a bad situation that happened to my property that God turned around for His glory and my good.
Now the final situation was that I was now out of my second car. Since it was old, the insurance company only gave me $3,500.00 for the car. This made me a little down. I thought that surely God was going to bless me with a large sum of money, through my insurance company for my damaged car. I had taken care of that car “like a baby”, ever since I purchased it when it was only 5yrs old.
The young girl got a brand new car. I prayed, I waited, it did not seem quite fair to me. I was very thankful for all of the multiple ways that God had blessed me but I needed to keep encouraging myself about this one issue.
I kept having faith that God would work this out. I kept praying to Him and thanking Him for everything that He had already done. I tried looking for older cars that I could purchase with the little bit of money I had been given for my crashed car. This went on for 8 months.
A co-worker had purchased a really nice used car that had only had one owner and it was the same kind of car that mine was that had been crashed only it was the deluxe model from “back in the day” and mine was the sporty and smaller mode.. I was happy for my co-worker. I told them that I had been praying for a car too because of what happened to mine. Then much to my surprise; my co-worker said he wanted to sell the used car that he had just recently purchased. He had already gotten new tires and brakes and the car was in excellent condition and ran extremely well, but he thought the gas mileage was not good enough.
He said he wanted to sell it for… Guess how much??? $3,500.00. Praise God so much! God had come through for me again. The car is magnificent. It still has less miles on it than my other car. God is so awesome. Sometimes He blesses us immediately and sometimes we need to be patient and persevere for a little while. I was able to keep my faith and God blessed me again.
This is not one of those really serious testimonies but to me it does show how our God does care about the little details of our lives as well as the really big ones.
