Hello my most Wonderful World Wide Family. I love you all so very much. What kind of a family member have I been lately? I am so sorry. I just noticed that it has been over a month since I last wrote to you. During that time I lost another Loved One. I have now lost 3 loved ones in the last 8 months. This has been hard. I do praise God! This Loved One was my Mother in Law. She was less than 2 weeks from turning 90 years old. She lived her life loving and serving our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ and helping others. Her passing truly was a “Home going celebration!” She had become ill and was in the ICU but she was only ill for about 1 month and God in His mercy took her home to Heaven. I loved her very much. She is at home in heaven with our LORD. Glory to God. I have been busy trying to be there for family members who are taking this loss very hard.
Dear LORD God Almighty, Maker of Heaven and earth, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Holy Spirit. We love You. You are Holy. We come to You with thanksgiving for Who You are and Whose we are. You are Holy, and worthy to be praised. We worship You LORD. We thank You that no matter what our life’s journey has been like thus far; we are never, ever alone. You are always right here with us. This is why You created us. We get to do this life on earth with You and then we get to do eternity with You in heaven for those of us who have accepted Your Son Jesus as our LORD and Savior.
Please LORD, You call us all unto You. You do not wish that any shall perish but that all will spend eternity with You. Send Your Christian Soldiers with Your Love to preach Your WORD to all the nations so all can be saved LORD. Please LORD prepare the hearts of Your people to receive Your WORD and Your Son Jesus as LORD. Thank You for calling us. Thank You for protecting us and all of our generations and sending Your angels to minister to us. Thank You Lord for providing for us and healing us. Send me LORD, send us. We love You and praise You, we worship You. Thank You in Jesus Precious Name, Amen. Glory to God!
JOHN 3:16 FOR GOD SO LOVE THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER SHALL BELIEVE IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.
JOHN 14:6 JESUS ANSWERED, “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.”
HEBREWS 9:27 IT IS APPOINTED FOR MEN ONCE TO DIE AND AFTER THIS THE JUDGEMENT.
The funeral was beautiful. My Sister in Law did an amazing job with all of the stellar arrangements fitting for a Queen. My Mother in Law was even celebrated with the releasing of doves at her burial site. That is a really thought evoking experience. As you watch the beautiful white doves soaring into the sky between Heaven and earth; your thoughts travel with them. Thoughts of yourselves standing here on earth and celebrating the life of a loved one that you know has been in Heaven since the day she died in the ICU when her eternal soul left her mortal body. Thoughts that this life here on this earth is so very temporary and then at the moment of death here, begins life in eternity. Thoughts of where we will be spending our eternity.
We do not need to question where we will spend eternity. We can know for sure. Yes, we can be absolutely certain that we will spend our glorious eternity in Heaven with God the Father, God the Son Jesus and God the Holy Spirit. How can we be sure of this, you might ask? We can be sure of our eternal destination by accepting Jesus Christ as our LORD and Savior right here while we are alive on this earth, and right now if we have not already done this.
How do we do this? We simply state the truth. We are sinners, we fall short of the Glory of God every day. We want to be forgiven by Jesus and turn away from our sins. This is repentance. We want to live a new life. A life that pleases our LORD. We know we need His help to do this. We cannot do this on our own. We never have to do anything on our own ever again. God wants us to count on Him. We confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is LORD. He was born, lived a perfect life as the Only Son of God here on earth. He died the horrendous death of crucifiction and took all of our sins and sickness and bore them for us so that we can be free and forgiven. Jesus was buried and arose. He walked this earth after his death for 40 days and was seen by over 500 people. Jesus then ascended back into Heaven where He Reigns with God the Father and He intercedes for us in prayer. Jesus sent us His Holy Spirit to live and abide in us and we live and abide in Him.
We also have the freedom to choose another destination for our eternity after we die and leave this earth. God gives us free will to choose. We can never say that God sends people to hell because He died to save us from hell. The choice is ours. Please do not let eternity in hell be the choice that you make for your eternity.
The Pastor who spoke at my Mother in Laws funeral said that when people that we love die and leave this earth, we like to say “Rest in Peace”. In our sorrow, mourning and great loss, we try to comfort ourselves by saying that our loved one is “resting in peace.” “R.I.P” There is only one way that we, any of us, all of us get to “rest in peace”, and that is if we made the eternal choice to believe in Jesus as our LORD and Savior while we were still alive to make this choice. When we die it is too late. Please let us make this choice now. I would love to see all of you in Heaven for eternity.
You know at funerals there are people, friends and family members from all walks of life there in attendance. There area all types of religious beliefs, lifestyles, world views that are represented in the group that has gathered to say good bye to our loved ones. I felt that it was bold and truthful of this Pastor who spoke to bring up the “Truth that Supersedes Fact” that we need to make our choice now if we will really be able to “Rest in Peace” when we depart from earth. Also how much do we really want our loved ones to “Rest in Peace”? Do we want this enough to tell them the TRUTH about Jesus? Please, I beseech you all, let’s do this before it is too late.
I have to go now. Until we get to talk again, you are all in my prayers and I love you. Most importantly, Jesus loves you. God bless you and all of your generations for all eternity with His Peace.
