Hello again my most Wonderful World Wide Family. I love you all so very much. It is great to be able to talk to you all again. This is now February, the “month of Valentine’s Day and Love”. Of course this world would be an awesome place if everyone chose to love every one else, every day and every month of the year. Thank God that He, as our Creator, chooses to love every one of us every moment of our lives. He tells us this in His Scripture in the Bible:
JOHN 15:13 GREATER LOVE HAS NO MAN THAN THIS, THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS. (akjv)
That is of course exactly what God did when He gave His Only Beloved, Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, Who never sinned, to die on the Cross of Calvary for our sins. He died for us so that we can live with Him forever in eternity when we accept Jesus as our LORD and Savior. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Who wouldn’t want to make this choice? Yet sadly it baffles me that many, many unfortunately will not. The choice is ours to make. God has already chosen us.
JOHN 3:16 FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONE AND ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. (niv)
JOHN 14:6 JESUS SAID TO HIM, “I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.” (esv)
2 CORINTHIANS 5:21 FOR GOD MADE CHRIST, WHO NEVER SINNED, TO BE THE OFFERING FOR OUR SIN, SO THAT WE COULD BE MADE RIGHT WITH GOD THROUGH CHRIST.
Dear LORD, we come to You with praise and gratitude for Who You are. We worship You LORD. You alone are Worthy of our praise. We thank You for Who You are and that You love us perfectly. We ask that You please fill us exceedingly and abundantly with Your Perfect Love so that it overflows onto our fellow brothers and sisters all around the world.
We thank You for Your Son, our LORD Jesus Christ. Please LORD, call all of these, Your people unto You. Let those who don’t yet know You; come to know You and be transformed. Send us Revival now LORD, another Great Awakening! Restore us please LORD. Thank You that You protect us as Jehovah Nissi, our Banner and keep Your angels around us. Thank You that You alone provide for us as Jehovah Jireh and heal us as Jehovah Rapha. We love You LORD. We pray in the precious Name of Jesus and thank You. Glory!
Lately I have been having some difficulty sleeping at times. I sometimes fall asleep and then am awakened at around midnight. I sometimes awaken startled and quickly need to speak Bible verses out loud to myself to keep from becoming scared and to comfort myself. I try to then read my Bible or an inspiring book by a Christian author. I have just started reading, “Between Heaven and the Real World, My Story” by Steven Curtis Chapman.
I started reading, (as you are supposed to), from the beginning and it was awesome. Then because I had already heard of his testimony and knew that he had lost a daughter to death, (and I am grieving over the loss of my son in law this past October); I fast forwarded to the chapters in which the author shared about his great loss. Because I had no-one to talk to about my grief at these wee hours of the morning, I found comfort in reading about how our God helped the author and his family through their deepest grief.
They gave examples of how they noticed signs that further let them know that God was speaking to them and comforting them. (You must read his book!) I know exactly what they were referring to. God has done this for me through so many difficult times in life. God is our “Ever PRESENT Help in times of trouble!” I received comfort from their examples as I was reading.
Today I was carrying a load of laundry and I knocked a wooden string of hearts off of the wall. Each of these hearts has a word written on them. Each word is one of the “Fruit of the Holy Spirit”. I picked up the hearts that had dropped and later I found one that was still on the floor face down. I thought to myself that this one ‘fruit’ was probably Self Control or Kindness or Love, indicating something that I needed to improve on. When I turned the wooden heart over, I saw that it said ‘LONG SUFFERING.
Wow, I took that as a personal sign from God to me that He knows my suffering. I already know that of course God knows and sees every thing that occurs and He sees everything at the same time all around the world because He is Omnipresent and Omniscient. He is El-Ra ee, the God Who Sees. He is also Jehovah Shammah, the LORD Who is Right There. That was Who He showed me that He was at that moment. My God, my LORD, Who is right here with me during my suffering. He KNOWS me. He is a Mighty God that we serve. HE IS LOVE! He loves you and He loves me. I love Him with all of my heart, soul and spirit.
GALATIANS 5:22-23 BUT THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, {LONG SUFFERING}, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, SELF CONTROL; AGAINST SUCH THINGS THERE IS NO LAW.
The author goes on to talk about how he and his family were so very blessed to have all of the loving support of his friends and family and hundreds of people. God is so good. Maybe you are having a really hard time in life right now. Maybe you too have experienced a tragedy, and I am so sorry if you have. I know that kind of pain. Sometimes it is as if I can feel my heart aching in my throat and the tears wont stop. You WILL get through this VICTORIOUSLY! I will too, all thanks and glory to God.
Maybe you are more like me and you don’t have a large family or a lot of friends. I am alone many times and during this tragedy sadly, some of the small family that I do have has turned on each other. “BUT GOD!” (This saying is part of a Bible verse and it is also a Christian saying.) It means that your circumstances may be overwhelming , “BUT GOD”; is Greater than your circumstances. He is greater than your pain. He has no rival. He has no equal. He alone is God. He can be trusted, He knows our pain and is with us during our pain. His Holy Spirit is the Paraklete, meaning the Comforter. You and I are never, ever alone. God is Awesome! Glory to His Name!
Another thing that God allowed me to notice in the book was that the author had written something to the effect that God is God and we are not. I was amazed to see that this person had the very same thought that I have had. Immediately after the death of my son in law, I found comfort in reassuring myself that God is God and I am not. I do not know why things happen. I do not have to. God is in control. God’s ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts, they are so much higher. My job is to trust God. I gain strength and healing by worshiping Him. He gives us joy. The joy of the LORD is our strength.
ISAIAH 55:8-9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” (niv)
NEHEMIAH 8:10 …..THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH (nlt)
Well I need to close for now. I will always keep you in my prayers. To those of you who have family and loved ones; HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! (2/14/18) Enjoy, LOVE, and be thankful for them. To those of you who may not have family and loved ones; HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! Why not try letting God show you His perfect LOVE and make yourself at home in His Family. No time like the present. Please remember, I love you all so very much and most importantly Jesus loves you.
