Hello my most Wonderful World Wide Family. I love you all so very much! Well it is already January 11, 2018 and I am just now writing to you and wishing you a Happy New Year. Wow, I’m late aren’t I? Well in my own defense; I did finish up 2017 with a life altering experience. However, it is my deepest resolve and my prayer to God not to allow my life to be put on hold or made of no effect because of my circumstances. My God Reigns Supreme and He alone is Sovereign and time is of the essence. I am still here on this earth on this side of eternity, (not yet in Heaven), so that means I still have purpose and destiny and work to do for the LORD and this is such a privilege. It is also a privilege to be able to talk with all of you.
Dear LORD God Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth, we come to you with thanksgiving. We thank You for this New Year. We thank You for Your Son, our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. We thank You that You protect us with Your angels and You are the Banner over our lives for all of our generations, (Jehovah Nissi). We thank You that we are never alone and You see everything that happens to us, (El Ra-ee), and You are always right here with us LORD, (Jehovah Shammah). Thank You that we have this conduit of social media in which we can communicate with each other throughout Your world. Give us a heart and mind to love our brothers and sisters, strangers and enemies all around the world and to help those who are less fortunate or destitute LORD. Don’t let us be selfish LORD. Help us to be the answer to someone else’s prayer and cry for help. You bless us so much LORD, let us be a blessing to others.
LORD many, many people experienced tragedy and devastation in 2017. They are Survivors! They are Victorious! Please bless them and restore their lives LORD. Let all of us feel and experience Your Presence. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit LORD. Help us to clearly know and fulfill the destiny and purpose that You created us for. Help us to use the gifts that You have bestowed upon us and placed in us. Help us to realize that it is not we ourselves who are successful but it is actually You LORD working through us. Help us to depend upon You and embrace this dependence and intimate, personal relationship with You. We thank You, we worship and praise You LORD. In Jesus precious Name we pray. Amen. Glory to God!

Well, I just recently started counseling to help me deal with the grief and sadness that I have been experiencing. I am determined not to be a victim. I am Victorious in the LORD! It has actually been really great. I was thinking about when people say, “I don’t want to share my personal business and emotions with a stranger.” I actually think it works well. I chose to go to a Christian Counselor because it is totally only the LORD Who is going to provide my restoration and complete healing and Who heals, leads and guides me every moment of every day. I am not sure that I could totally benefit from talking with a counselor who did not understand my faith in, and dependence upon the LORD.
To me, talking to a counselor has the benefit of providing a set time and atmosphere in a counseling session where I can share my thoughts. I can cry if I need to, obtain sound Christian advice and hear powerful Scriptures that they share with me. Also God can speak to me through the counselor. I can get another point of view from someone who is not actually entrenched in my crisis but is being used to help me while I am. It is freeing. I am being set free.
Many people did not have the kind of year that they wanted or expected to have in 2017. Many have great hopes, plans and resolutions for our New Year of 2018. This is really great. We should all strive to improve our lives and the lives of others. We should all set goals for ourselves. My prayer for myself this year is to grow in Love, in the perfect Love of Christ for my family, loved ones, friends, strangers and enemies. My prayer is also to not have bad attitudes, not to harbor offenses when people have hurt me and to not become bitter which could fester into hatred. We can all be successful despite our circumstances or whatever may come our way in 2018 because our circumstances do not control us. We must not let them. We must rise above. The LORD will teach us how to do this.
