How can I both relate to Jesus Christ and have a personal intimate relationship with HIM?

Hello again my most Wonderful World Wide family. I love you all so very much! You are awesome! HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017! I am going to try to continue my most recent conversation with all of you. I last wrote on December 23rd. I wanted to write about how we can all relate to Jesus. It was around Christmas time when I wrote and it has past by now but I still want you to know this LORD Whom we all have so very much in common with no matter what our life circumstances have been.

Dear LORD God Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth and all of us Your people, we come to You with a thankful heart. We are thankful for Who You are and that You chose us all to be Your children and to have a personal intimate relationship with You. We thank You that You provide for us, You are Jehovah Jireh our Provider. You heal us Jehovah Rapha.  Not only our physical bodies but also our minds, our hearts, our emotions, our fractured personalities, our spirits. Everything that You do is perfect and complete.

Thank You Lord that You cover us. You are Jehovah Nissi, the LORD our Banner over our lives and the lives of our children and our children’s children for all generations. You protect us. You encamp Your angels around us no matter where we live, what our life’s circumstances are and what persecution we may be enduring.  We are VICTORIOUS in YOU!

Thank You that You are Jehovah Roi, the LORD our Shepherd. You lead us step by step throughout our lives when we allow You to do this. You give us creative thoughts and Divine strategies. You alone are God. You have no rival. You are Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent. You give us Your Holy Spirit  the Paraklete our Comforter to live and abide inside of us and we live and abide in You.

Thank You LORD that in this New Year and everyday, You call us to REST in YOU. The battle is not ours but it is Yours LORD. Your are our ABBA ADONAI; Father/Daddy and Lord and Master. Please LORD draw all of these, Your people unto You for eternal salvation. I ask all of this in Jesus Christ of Nazareth’s Precious Name and I thank You in advance LORD.

We last talked about how Jesus relates to both the poor and rich, weak and strong, leaders and servants. I would like to continue to share my thoughts along these lines.

Do you consider yourself to be highly educated, one who perhaps has multiple degrees which has allowed you to have an excellent profession? Praise God for this. Education is definitely a key to success here in this world. Jesus, being One with God Himself, is obviously the most educated, most highly intelligent Being ever. My words sorely pale in any attempt to describe His Magnificence so I will not even try any further.

Do we actually think that as humans, (who were all created by God), with various intellectual capacities that we can make statements or “discoveries” that attempt to make ourselves appear more profound or more intelligent or even remotely close to the level of  God.

This is one of those topics that helped to bring into fruition the title of this blog: Truth Supercedes Fact. Even if we believe we are superior beings, we are not. Even if we believe in evolution instead of creation; the TRUTH is we were all created by the One and Only God, Elohim, God the Creator. The TRUTH also is that we all need a Savior. We cannot save ourselves. The TRUTH is that God provided all of this for us by sending His Son Jesus Christ to die for us that our sins can  be forgiven and we can have eternal life in Him. To me, this would be the truly intelligent choice to make.

Do you consider yourself to be uneducated or less educated? God says that He chooses and uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. God says that we that are His children, have the Mind of Christ. (It doesn’t get any better than that!) God says that when we ask, He will give us His wisdom. Perhaps you were not able to continue your education, (yet!),  because “life’s circumstances hit”. Perhaps you live in an area of the world where education is not as readily available as it is here in America or because of your economic level, gender, culture, etc.; education has not been a priority.  You can still abundantly succeed in the LORD. He still of course, has a plan and destiny for you to fulfill.

Do you consider yourself to have it all together? That is awesome that you have confidence. You have probably accomplished great things in your life. You may even greatly invest into the lives of others. This is very admirable. I personally would caution about having “self confidence”. I prefer to know that my confidence is in the LORD and what He can do in and through me. I am very satisfied to admit that without Him I can do nothing and that with Him I can do all things. I personally live with the goals of bringing God pleasure and glory and not myself.

Jesus, being God,  of course always had it together, yet He instead decided to sacrifice Himself for us. He could have called legions of angels down from Heaven to protect Him, yet He did not. He was obedient to His Father God even unto death; death on the cross so we could have salvation. He put all of His trust in God. He glorified God and not Himself.

Do you consider yourself to be falling apart, have extremely low self esteem, maybe even be a failure? First of all you are Not! More importantly, Jesus came just for you. He came to set the captives free, to heal the broken hearted, to set at liberty those who are bound. Please let Him do just this in your life. You don’t have to live another day in defeat. You are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. Greater is He Who is in you than he who is in the world. You can do all things through Christ Jesus Who strengthens you.

Just a thought for this New Year 2017. I know this is traditionally a time that we may like to make New Year’s Resolutions. That is great. We all definitely have room to make improvements. However we all have probably experienced to some degree what it feels like when even with our best intentions, we don’t meet our goals.

I would like to share the good news that every day and every minute of every day is a new chance to succeed, to prevail, to strive and thrive. An opportunity to conquer, to drop a bad habit and pick up a new and better one, to be more loving, more giving, less judgmental and  less bitter, to be more like Jesus and to be a world changer.

Let’s embrace these moments to be Speaker’s of Life and not condemnation and death, to be our “brother’s keeper” and not their judge and jury. Let’s reach down and pull  our brothers and sisters up and give them the gift of peace and love. We can do this together, this year in 2017!

Until we get to speak again, I love all of you so very much and of course even more importantly Jesus loves you. God bless you every moment of your lives. I will now include some Bible Scripture that I was referring to both in this blog and the previous one.
