Hello my most wonderful World Wide Family. I love you all so very much. It is so great to be able to talk to you right now. I am sitting at one of my favorite coffee shops doing my Bible study and I began thinking about you and about what an honor it has been to be able to have all of you to “talk” to and to share life with. You know, when I write to you, it actually helps me. I feel connected to a family that I will probably never see on this side of Heaven but even so I love you. It helps me to be able to share my heart and my LORD with you.
Dear Lord God Almighty, Maker of Heaven and earth, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Holy Spirit, we come to You with hearts filled with gratitude for Who You are and Whose we are. We love you LORD. We thank You for doing this life with us and never leaving us alone or on our own. It is Your Divine plan that we come to You as Your children and are dependent on You. You are our Abba; Heavenly Daddy. You created us, You provide for us, You heal us, You dry our tears, You lead us, You teach us, You give us Your peace that passes understanding, You give us Your joy which is our strength. We are complete in You. Please LORD help us to really grasp this reality. This “Truth that supersedes fact.”
Lord please protect all of these, Your people around the entire world whom You love. Whom You, Jesus died for. Please give to those who are being persecuted and even martyred for You, Your very presence LORD. Hold them, comfort them, give them Your peace. Let them really feel You and see You there with them like you did Stephen (in the Bible), when he was being stoned to death for his belief in You. Thank You for freedom here in America LORD. We pray for freedom to come to other nations LORD and for people to be saved and know the Truth. Protect Your people LORD, encamp Your angels around them and all of their generations. We thank You in advance. We worship and praise You LORD. In Jesus Precious Name we pray Amen. Glory to God!
I find that when I am preparing my Bible study for my friends at the local mission, it turns out to be a truth or topic that is exactly what I needed to know at that time. I feel that I really get blessed by the LORD during the preparation of the Bible study. I also feel that I get so blessed when I get to talk with all of you, and share my life with you and most of all share my LORD with you. I feel that what the LORD puts on my heart to share is also what I needed to know at that time. There is nothing that I would desire more than for all of you to be able to know Jesus as your LORD and Savior and have a personal intimate relationship with Him. This is my heart’s desire. Then I will see each one of you one day in Heaven and we can do eternity together with the LORD.
Life doesn’t get any better than this! To be able to spend life with the LORD here on earth, then to be able to share the LORD with others and help them to know Him. And to ultimately spend eternity with the LORD in Heaven. In the meantime bringing the Kingdom of God to this earth. Think of how much better this world could be. Shouldn’t that be our goal, to make the world a better place? It only takes one person to do their part. Think back at all of the “one persons” who have changed the world for the LORD. JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH, our LORD. Peter and Paul and other Apostles in the Bible. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa, Dr. Billy Graham, Charles Spurgeon, President Abraham Lincoln, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, C.S. Lewis, President George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Martin Luther, Jonathan Edwards, John Calvin, John Wesley, Rosa Parks. The list goes on and on.
Just as importantly are those “one persons” who remain anonymous or unknown to the rest of the world but who affect change for the LORD in their own sphere of influence, their Oikos-family/friends. Those who do their parts each day of their lives to make the world a better place, to reach out to their fellow human beings in love and compassion. To help those in need. To speak words of life and encouragement.
MATTHEW 25:34-40 “THEN THE KING WILL SAY TO THOSE ON HIS RIGHT, ‘COME, YOU WHO ARE BLESSED BY MY FATHER; TAKE YOUR INHERITANCE, THE KINGDOM PREPARED FOR YOU SINCE THE CREATION OF THE WORLD. FOR I WAS HUNGRY AND YOU GAVE ME SOMETHING TO EAT, I WAS THIRSTY AND YOU GAVE ME SOMETHING TO DRINK, I WAS A STRANGER AND YOU INVITED ME IN, I NEEDED CLOTHES AND YOU CLOTHED ME, I WAS IN PRISON AND YOU CAME TO VISIT ME.’
“THEN THE RIGHTEOUS WILL ANSWER HIM, ‘LORD, WHEN DID WE SEE YOU HUNGRY AND FEED YOU, OR THIRSTY AND GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO DRINK? WHEN DID WE SEE YOU A STRANGER AND INVITE YOU IN, OR NEEDING CLOTHES AND CLOTHE YOU? WHEN DID WE SEE YOU SICK OR IN PRISON AND GO TO VISIT YOU?’
“THE KING WILL REPLY, ‘TRULY I TELL YOU, WHATEVER YOU DID FOR ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE BROTHERS AND SISTERS OF MINE, YOU DID FOR ME.’
MATTHEW 6:9 THIS, THEN, IS HOW YOU SHOULD PRAY. (JESUS SPEAKING) OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME. THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD. AND FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES, AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US. LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION, BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL. FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, THE POWER AND THE GLORY FOREVER AND EVER, AMEN.
Wow, the time surely passed by quickly. It has been hours and this place is getting ready to close. Again, I want to mention, it has been a great privilege and honor to be able to talk with all of you and do this journey called life with you.
Until we get to talk again; please remember, I love you and I am praying for you. Most importantly Jesus loves you. God bless you and all of your generations.
